Sofie Elina Berz

Sofie Berz lives and works in Bern and is currently studying Camera Arts at HSLU DFK in Lucerne, Switzerland.
In her work she mainly focuses on intimate but political topics that blur the line between public and private. She uses photography and text in a way that make you reflect on your own perspective of the world, incorporates her own experiences and often uses aesthetic imagery, accentuating the reoccurring contrast between beauty and the ugliness of the reality in a patriarchal world behind it.
