Article 8 para. 3 (new BV) reads:
"Men and women shall have equal rights. The law shall ensure their legal and de facto equality, especially in the family, education and work. Men and women shall be entitled to equal pay for work of equal value."

It is 2024 and we are still a long way from gender equality. Based on internet and literature research as well as interviews and personal experiences, this work provides insights into how far equality really goes and shows how women are still disadvantaged, discriminated against, forgotten and oppressed in today's society.
